Truck Mechanic — Class 1 Fleet
Perform light repairs to fleet (oil change, battery change…). No engines, or heavy mechanical work.
Fastex Transport is looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Mechanic to join our team and keep our fleet running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety requirements
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Respond to occasional breakdowns and urgent repairs
Requirements:
- Experience working on heavy trucks and trailers
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Valid Quebec mechanic certification/experience is an asset
