Responsibilities
Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and thoroughly.
Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety and hygiene standards, supporting the health and safety of both staff and guests.
Support the setup and breakdown of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting stations for subsequent service.
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of low stock levels.
Follow proper waste disposal procedures to keep the kitchen environment clean and safe at all times.
Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality throughout shifts.
Skills
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and food safety standards essential for maintaining hygienic kitchen environments.
