Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our transportation team. This role offers the opportunity to operate your own vehicle while providing essential freight delivery services. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and secure freight transportation across various routes.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and heavy equipment, to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs or coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Manage freight documentation, including delivery manifests and shipping paperwork.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation accuracy.
- Must have reliable transportation to operate as an Owner Operator Driver. This position offers the autonomy of managing your own vehicle while contributing significantly to our logistics operations through skilled freight handling and safe driving practices.
Pay: $8,000.00-$12,000.00 per month
