- Manage acute care cases efficiently, providing immediate interventions for urgent health issues while coordinating follow-up care as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, including specialists, nurses, and support staff.
- Document all patient interactions accurately using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner; ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Administer medications and perform procedures related to pain management, pediatrics, and home care when appropriate.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes to support ongoing research initiatives and improve clinical practices.
Skills
- Extensive hospital experience with a strong understanding of acute care protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Proven ability in research methodologies to support evidence-based practice improvements.
- Experience in pediatrics with a focus on child health management and family-centered care.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, documentation standards, and electronic health records systems such as Epic and Cerner.
- Skilled in medication administration, pain management techniques, and home care services delivery.
- Excellent patient care skills with an empathetic approach that fosters trust and open communication.
- Knowledge of data collection methods for clinical research or quality improvement projects; ability to interpret healthcare data effectively.
