Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant to join our financial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing comprehensive accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights. This role requires a strong background in accounting software and financial analysis, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency to support our organization's financial health and growth.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms.
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to verify the integrity of financial data.
- Conduct auditing procedures to identify discrepancies and ensure adherence to internal controls.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely payments in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and account analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain detailed bookkeeping records and manage general ledger entries.
- Ensure compliance with corporate finance regulations and prepare documentation for audits.
- Utilize accounting software for data entry, reporting, and analysis to streamline financial operations.
Qualifications
- Certified Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Experience in corporate finance, auditing, budgeting, and financial services is preferred.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
