Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated 1st year - Journeyman Sheet Metal Workers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a background including but not limited to commercial and light industrial installations.
Duties
- Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components according to blueprints and specifications
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints and specifications
- Work well in a team environment
- Communicate and coordinate well with other trades and individuals on job site
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge including, hand tools, blueprint reading, and Aerial work platforms (ie, scaffold, ladders, scissor lifts, AWP's)
- Understanding and maintaining a safe work environment.
Assets
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Safety training (CSTS, Fall Protection, AWP, First aid etc) asset but not required.
- Basic Hand tools and cordless drill/impact etc.
- Availability for occasional afterhours and out of town projects
- Be able to work efficiently, self supervised and within a team setting
Pay: $21.25-$42.50 per hour
