Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs, and encouraging a love of learning. This role involves creating engaging activities, promoting social-emotional growth, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in our care.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other interactive methods to encourage curiosity and exploration.
- Collaborate with families to share progress updates and address individual needs or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment for children and staff.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and classroom management techniques.
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities.
- Relevant certifications or credentials in early childhood education are highly desirable.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to various developmental stages.
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports children's growth and learning.
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Saint-Laurent, QC H4S 1A8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
