Overview
Davis Electrical is a growing electrical contractor serving Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, specializing in residential and commercial electrical services, panel upgrades, renovations, EV charger installations, troubleshooting, and residential solar solutions. We're looking for a motivated Journeyman Electrician or 4th Year Apprentice to join our team.
We're seeking someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally with clients, and can work both independently and as part of a team. This role offers a variety of work in residential and commercial settings, making every day different.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial electrical systems
- Complete service calls, renovations, panel upgrades, EV charger installations, and new electrical installations
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical drawings
- Ensure all work complies with the Canadian Electrical Code and safety regulations
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Accurately document completed work and materials used
- Work independently on service calls while collaborating with the team on larger projects
- Represent Davis Electrical with professionalism and excellent customer service
Experience
- Journeyman Electrician certification or current 4th Year Electrical Apprentice
- Residential electrical experience is required (commercial experience is an asset)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with service work, renovations, panel upgrades, and electrical repairs
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and safe work practices
- Valid BC driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Own truck or work vehicle is considered a strong asset
- Flexible schedule with the ability to occasionally work overtime or adjust hours to meet project needs
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality workmanship

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
