Position Summary
CSO Elite Security is seeking professional, confident, and highly reliable Security Guards to join our Nightlife Division. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, controlled, and welcoming environment in bars, nightclubs, lounges, and entertainment venues. You will represent the front line of safety, guest experience, and conflict prevention in fast-paced nightlife settings.
This role operates in high-energy nightlife environments including bars, clubs, private events, and entertainment venues. The position requires late-night shifts and the ability to work in loud, fast-paced, and sometimes high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a visible, professional security presence at nightlife venues
- Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification, and conduct guest screening
- Prevent, de-escalate, and document conflicts or disruptive behavior
- Enforce venue policies, occupancy limits, and liquor licensing regulations
- Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior premises
- Assist venue management and staff with crowd control and guest flow
- Respond effectively to incidents, emergencies, medical situations, and evacuations
- Complete accurate incident reports, daily logs, and other required documentation
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for patrons and staff
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience in nightlife, hospitality, event security, or crowd management is considered an asset
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extended periods
- Availability to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong situational awareness and sound decision-making abilities
- Smart Serve Certification is considered an asset or willingness to obtain
