Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall food service process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, food safety, and delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook and assemble dishes with attention to presentation and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours, ensuring timely service
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and handling
- Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment and maintaining sanitation standards throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong understanding of serving, meal preparation, and food handling procedures
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Basic knowledge of the food industry standards and customer service expectations
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in all aspects of work
Pay: $19.60-$22.60 per hour
