Location: Morinville, Alberta (Edmonton, St. Albert, Sturgeon County)
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of complex engineered equipment and infrastructure projects from contract award through commissioning and warranty.
This role is responsible for coordinating engineering, procurement, manufacturing, subcontractors, commissioning, and client communications to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Manage projects from contract award through warranty completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Monitor project scope, risks, and contractual obligations.
Lead project kick-off meetings and regular progress reviews with internal teams and clients.
Coordinate mechanical, electrical, structural, process, and automation engineering activities.
Track engineering deliverables and ensure timely drawing reviews and client approvals.
Manage design revisions and scope changes.
Coordinate procurement of long-lead equipment and materials.
Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
Work closely with manufacturing to ensure production aligns with project timelines.
Serve as the primary point of contact after project award.
Provide regular project updates and manage customer expectations.
Support contract administration and issue resolution.
Track project budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
Monitor project costs and earned revenue.
Coordinate progress billing and cash flow activities.
Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
Coordinate factory acceptance testing (FAT), shipping, startup, and commissioning activities.
Ensure all project documentation is completed.
Support warranty and post-project activities.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
Experience managing engineered equipment or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning, contracts, and change management.
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer relationship skills.
Strong financial and commercial awareness.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience within water and wastewater, industrial process equipment, automation, or modular construction.
Background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, CET, PMP, or a related discipline.
