As the Automation Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.
Install, terminate, and test instrumentation, fiber optics, and communication cabling.

Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, P&IDs, blueprints, and technical drawings.

Maintain and calibrate process instrumentation (e.g., pressure, flow, temperature, level sensors).
309A Red Seal Electrical License
Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related field.

Proficient in using electrical test equipment (multimeters, insulation testers, signal generators, loop calibrators).

Solid understanding of industrial control systems, including analog/digital signals and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
Compensation Statement
In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
