Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and handle cashiering responsibilities with precision.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with safety standards and company policies.
- Serve food items promptly while ensuring presentation quality and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including processing payments accurately and providing correct change.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and ensuring an enjoyable experience.
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible alcohol service.
- Assist in setting up tables, cleaning up after service, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, especially in food service or hospitality environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for order calculations, change handling, and billing purposes.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Must be personable, attentive, reliable, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
