Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fabricating high-quality drapes and an eye for detail. This role requires proficiency in sewing techniques and the ability to work with various types of fabrics. As a Seamstress, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Duties
- Fabricate garments and other textile products according to specifications and patterns.
- Operate sewing machines and other equipment to assemble, alter, or repair drapes.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring all items meet company standards.
- Collaborate with design teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Maintain an organized workspace within the warehouse, ensuring all materials are properly stored and accessible.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking fabric supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Keep up-to-date with sewing techniques and trends to enhance skills and improve product offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or in a similar role within a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of different fabrics, sewing techniques, and garment construction.
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and other relevant equipment effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
