Overview
We are a small group of framing carpenters looking to expand our team. We frame complex custom homes in the Simcoe region mainly from Barrie to Gravenhurst. We are seeking skilled and dedicated Carpenters to join our framing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in various carpentry techniques and a passion for building structures. This role requires operating power tools, and performing heavy lifting. a background in framing is not necessary but construction experience is a must.
Responsibilities
- Operating pneumatic nail guns and circular saws.
- Cutting and installing floor, wall, and roof packages.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Must have your own means of transportation.
- Experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to follow instructions, and carry out tasks without supervision.
- Proficiency in using various power tools safely (e.g., saws, drills).
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
