Hi there, I'm a dad looking for 2 part-time responsible, caring persons to look after my two easygoing, school-aged kids (ages 9-11) at our home in the Panorama Hills area of NW Calgary on weekdays this summer, while I'm at work. This would be a great summer job for a, responsible student.
The details:
- When: Monday to Friday, TBD: (7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) or (7:00 a.m. to 11-30 a.m) or (11:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
- Dates: June 29 to August 28, 2026 (summer break)
- Where: in our home, NW Calgary (Panorama Hills area). There's a bus stop right by the house, directly on the city bus route, so it's easy to get to by transit.
The role is to be the responsible person for my two kids during the day - keeping them safe and supervised, helping with meals, simple activities, Kumon exercises, light housekeeping, preparing meals for kids, and doing some fun summer outings.
I'm looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, and genuinely enjoys kids
- Has some experience with school-aged children (babysitting, day camp, coaching, or younger siblings - all count)
- References (for example, families you've babysat for, a coach, or a teacher)
- Is a non-smoker
- Can get here reliably (the bus stop is right outside, or your own vehicle)
- First Aid/CPR or a babysitting course is a plus
