Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will be committed to cleanliness, safety, and supporting the overall food service operations in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and basic food handling.
- Support the kitchen team by ensuring all dishware is available for service during busy hours.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a hygienic environment.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain overall cleanliness of the kitchen area.
- Assist with other light cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas as required.
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Experience with food handling, food service, or hotel operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures in a commercial kitchen setting is advantageous.
- No formal experience necessary; training will be provided for all duties. Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
