Midwest Protection Group INC. is seeking highly motivated and professional Mobile Security Agents. As a Mobile Security Agent, your role requires a high level of focus and attentiveness, with responsibilities centered on preventing crime, responding quickly to incidents, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for our clients.
Mobile Security Agents are responsible for carrying out both scheduled and random patrols, responding to security incidents, enforcing site-specific policies, and, when necessary, making arrests in accordance with applicable laws. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong situational awareness, sound decision-making, and clear communication with clients, law enforcement, and the operations team.
Key Responsibilities
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Utilize CCTV systems when required to conduct surveillance and identify suspicious activity or potential security breaches.
- Respond quickly and effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Provide assistance to visitors and staff, including directions, while ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Work in coordination with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Carry out loss prevention duties by observing behavior and taking appropriate action when necessary.
- Perform routine security inspections of buildings, entrances, exits, and parking areas to ensure safety standards are upheld.
Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or surveillance is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of CCTV systems and monitoring practices.
- Understanding of loss prevention methods and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to quickly recognize suspicious activity or potential threats.
- Clear and professional communication skills for accurate reporting and interaction.
- Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- A valid Alberta Security License is required
