Responsibilities
Responsibilities include accessing and interpreting imaging through remote connection to PACS system and providing timely, accurate reports. Scope of reading and interpretation can include:
- Diagnostic Ultrasound
- CT
- MRI
- Plain film
- Fluoroscopy
There is opportunity for some of the responsibilities to be tailored towards current skillset. Our supportive working environment also provides the opportunity to grow your skillset as well as scope of practice where desired.
Compensation
Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee-for-service model and may include additional program stipends. Total compensation for fee-for-service billings varies by individual practitioner, and the compensation range shown reflects the average range of wages for this specialty as reported by Alberta Health.
Qualifications
- Current Alberta Practice Permit or CPSA Letter of Eligibility to practice in Alberta will be required prior to commencement.
- Licensed as a Medical Doctor in the Province of Alberta
- Registered with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
- Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in Diagnostic Radiology
- Active membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
Pay: $200,000.00-$500,000.00 per year
