Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Immigration Caseworker to join our legal team. This role involves managing immigration cases with attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to client service. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, legal drafting abilities, and experience with research and data entry. Job Responsibilities
- Process and prepare immigration applications from start to submission, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current regulations.
- Handle TRV applications including Visitor Visas (Canada, UK, Australia, USA), Study Permits, Spousal Open Work Permits, Super Visas, PGWP, Spousal Sponsorships, Parents & Grandparents Sponsorship, Vulnerable Open Work Permits, Citizenship, and other programs.
- Review and organize client and employer documents, identify gaps, and ensure all submissions meet IRCC and relevant authority requirements.
- Assist with LMIA applications, including document preparation, form completion, and employer compliance.
- Manage Job Bank postings, recruitment documentation, and ESDC compliance requirements.
- Draft forms, submission letters, and supporting documents with strong attention to detail.
- Track application progress, manage deadlines, and provide timely updates to clients.
- Communicate professionally with clients, employers, and government authorities.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure all activities are properly documented.
- Support senior team members with complex cases and ongoing file management.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and research skills.
- Ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously with accuracy.
- Strong understanding of immigration procedures and documentation.
- Passion for the immigration field and client service.
Qualifications
- RCIC designation is an asset but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of Canadian immigration programs is required.
- Additional language skills are an asset.
Experience
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience as an Immigration Processing Case Worker or in a similar role.
- Strong experience handling TRV applications, work permits, PR applications, and citizenship files.
- Working knowledge of LMIA processing and Job Bank requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple files, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
