Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience will be an asset, Fresh graduates with no experience are also encouraged to apply in confidence.
Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
- And other associated duties with RDA job will be discussed more on interview day.
Skills
- Proficiency in Dental Assisting with knowledge of general dentistry practice.
- Familiarity with dental softwares for managing patient records.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
- Experience in a dental receptionist role is a plus but not mandatory.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
