Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Crown-Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This role involves operating various types of forklifts, Crown Reach or Crown Dock stocker to efficiently manage the movement and storage of goods within the facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency in warehouse management systems, and the ability to perform heavy lifting safely. This position is essential for maintaining smooth warehouse operations, ensuring accurate order picking, and supporting overall distribution processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate Crown forklifts, Crown Reach or Crown Dock stocker, to move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
- Perform accurate order picking and staging to meet daily shipping requirements
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks, adhering to safety protocols to prevent injuries
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations and replenishing inventory as needed
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience operating Crown forklifts, Crown Reach or Crown Dock stocker
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to forklift maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order accuracy
- Excellent understanding of warehouse distribution processes and safety standards
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or operating equipment
- Knowledge of order picking procedures and efficient stock handling techniques
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Crown Reach, or Dock Stocker preferred)
- Minimum 1–2 years of warehouse forklift experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
