Overview
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repairman to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household and commercial appliances. This role offers an opportunity to work independently, utilize technical skills, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to interpret schematics and perform repairs efficiently.
Duties
- Diagnose issues with appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers using electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components in appliances
- Interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to identify problem areas
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to prevent future failures
- Install new appliances and ensure proper operation according to manufacturer specifications
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair processes and answering client questions
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Adhere to safety protocols, including those related to HVAC systems when applicable
- Assist with assembly of appliances when necessary
Experience
- Prior experience in appliance repair or related field preferred
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot wiring issues effectively
- Mechanical knowledge of appliance components and systems
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Experience working with HVAC systems is a plus but not required
- Customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions
- Ability to perform appliance assembly when needed

Pay: $60.00-$100.00 per hour
