Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Foreman/Woman to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and a solid background in civil construction projects. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects while utilizing advanced construction management tools and software. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of civil construction, ensuring project quality, safety, and efficiency.
Duties
- Manage and supervise civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project planning, tracking, and documentation
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues promptly
- Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and resource allocation for projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution
- Implement construction estimating procedures and review schematics for accuracy
- Supervise on-site personnel, providing guidance and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Requirements
- Proven experience in civil construction management with supervising responsibilities
- Strong proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and related tools
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating techniques
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively and oversee quality control measures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
- Construction experience in various civil projects is essential
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Prior experience with construction safety standards and protocols is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project documentation and planning
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
