About Us:
Horizon Arrival Co. (recently branched from Simple Hosts Property Management) is a full-service cottage turnover business providing complete guest‑ready preparation for vacation rentals. Our team handles everything from detailed cleaning to linen changes, restocking essentials, and staging each cottage so it feels fresh and welcoming for every new guest.
We’re looking for reliable, detail‑oriented team members to join us for the 2026 season! This role involves full-service turnovers — not just cleaning — and is ideal for someone who enjoys independent work, follows checklists well, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high‑quality results. They will be working at various properties along the Lake Huron coastline- from Plympton/Wyoming to Bayfield. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic. We also value an open-minded candidate who is eager to improve.
Responsibilities:
- Complete full turnovers between guest stays
- Change and reset all linens, including bedding and towels
- Clean and sanitize all interior spaces: kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and high‑touch surfaces
- Restock essential items such as toiletries and kitchen supplies
- Stage and organize rooms to meet company presentation standards
- Follow detailed turnover checklists for each property
- Submit photo documentation of completed work
- Report damages, maintenance issues, or low inventory to management
Requirements:
- Must be available weekends and Mondays
- Ability to work between 9 AM–6 PM
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough, consistent work
- Ability to follow checklists and work independently
- Cleaning, housekeeping, or hospitality experience preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from cottages
