We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Maintenance Technician to conduct and oversee the maintenance and management of our residential properties.
This role is ideal for a solution-focused individual with knowledge in property management, building maintenance, and can work with contractors to ensure our properties remain safe, secure, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, conduct, coordinate and oversee building and suite-related maintenance.
- Work with internal teams and/or contractors to ensure repairs are completed correctly, efficiently, within budget and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure the upkeep, safety, security and cleanliness of all the buildings, suites, and landscapes by maintaining a high level of quality control.
- Act as the first point of contact for tenants, building or suite-related emergencies and coordinate an appropriate response.
- Conduct move-ins, move-outs, and showings for residential and commercial units.
- Manage rent collection, assist with tenant management and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building maintenance, repair management, and property management for residential and commercial properties.
- Knowledge of building construction, plumbing, mechanical systems, carpentry, and electrical systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for tenant interactions and contractor management.
- Technologically proficient with the ability to operate computers, scanners, printers, smartphones, and various software programs.
- Honest, transparent, accountable & adapts easily.
- Well organized who has a solution-oriented mindset with high follow through.
- Familiarity with local building codes, residential tenancy laws and regulations is preferred.
- Available for on-call duties or emergencies.
- A valid drivers' license & vehicle are required to accomplish the assigned tasks.
Compensation:
$45,000 - $65,000
