Peter’s South End Garage, a small family run business for over 50 years with a strong customer base, is looking to add to the team a Licensed Automotive Service Technician OR Apprentice.

- Full time guaranteed hours, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5 pm (no Saturday work)
- A competitive hourly wage based on experience (Licensed Automotive Service Technician pay scale is $40-$45 per hr dependent on experience, Apprenticeship pay scale is $22-$30 depending on apprenticeship level)

What we are looking for:
- 310S license or apprenticeship student (individuals seeking an apprenticeship are welcome to apply)
- Valid G Drivers license and clean driving record
- Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills, detail oriented
- A friendly and positive team player with a good attitude and outlook; coachable
- Customer driven and dedicated to customer satisfaction
- Honest, reliable and trustworthy
- We expect you to supply a decent amount of tools, some tools are provided
Individuals seeking an apprenticeship, this is a great opportunity to pursue your career in the automotive industry! As an apprentice you will bring an eagerness to grow and learn, a good attitude, reliability and punctuality.
Your responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain customer vehicles (a variety of makes and models)
- Perform maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs and fluid replacement etc.
- Use diagnostic tools and technical resources to troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Work well with the Service Advisor to ensure effective communication resulting in customer satisfaction
- Adhere to safety protocols during heavy lifting and working with machinery and equipment
