Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the transportation and relocation of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Safely load and unload items from trucks and vehicles, ensuring all items are secured properly during transport.
- Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform heavy lifting and moving tasks, including furniture, appliances, and other large items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in both warehouse settings and during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a smooth moving process.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and equipment handling.
- Operate forklifts or other machinery when required (certification preferred but not mandatory).
Requirements
- Previous experience in moving or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards client interactions.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
