Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. Must be available evenings. Majority of the shifts will be evening events with some day shifts to maintain consistent hours. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and beverage quality.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations in the hospitality industry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
