We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive dealership team. The Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle drop-off to completion. This role requires excellent communication skills, automotive knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Prior dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, along with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at sales and upselling services while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and professionally upon arrival, establishing a positive rapport.
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues for technicians.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and services, ensuring customer understanding.
- Upsell additional maintenance or repair services based on customer needs and vehicle requirements.
- Coordinate with technicians to communicate repair timelines and ensure timely vehicle servicing.
- Prepare estimates, process payments, and handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Follow up with customers regarding vehicle status and ensure satisfaction upon completion of service.
- Maintain organized records of service orders, customer interactions, and sales activities.
- Promote dealership services, maintenance plans, and warranty options to enhance customer loyalty.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience is highly advantageous for understanding vehicle repairs.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Sales aptitude with experience in upselling services and products.
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic computer skills for record keeping.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
