We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Assistant with experience in social media advertising, e-commerce marketing, outreach, campaign coordination, and digital performance support.
Responsibilities
As a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for executing and managing digital marketing activities across paid social, e-commerce, outreach, research, reporting, and client campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who understands how digital campaigns are built, launched, monitored, and optimized.
Key responsibilities include:
- Set up, monitor, and manage paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
- Work with campaign objectives such as awareness, traffic, engagement, leads, conversions, catalogue sales, and retargeting
- Support audience research, targeting setup, interest research, custom audiences, lookalike audiences, and retargeting strategies
- Monitor campaign performance, including spend, reach, clicks, leads, conversions, cost per result, ROAS, and other key metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance through targeting, creative testing, budget adjustments, and offer positioning
- Coordinate ad creative, copy, landing pages, tracking links, product feeds, and campaign assets needed for paid social campaigns
- Execute e-commerce marketing tasks, including product promotions, seasonal campaigns, online store campaigns, email marketing, catalogue campaigns, and sales funnel support
- Help manage product-related campaign materials such as product images, descriptions, offers, collections, promotional messaging, and landing page content
- Conduct outreach campaigns, including prospect research, contact list building, personalized messaging, follow-ups, and lead tracking
- Research client industries, competitors, target audiences, customer behavior, market trends, and campaign opportunities
- Review marketing and sales materials to identify gaps, improvements, and new opportunities for campaign execution
- Prepare client-facing updates, reports, campaign summaries, and presentations
- Work with internal teams across paid ads, SEO, CRM, design, content, and strategy to move client campaigns forward
- Track tasks, deadlines, deliverables, campaign updates, and client requests to ensure projects are completed efficiently
- Identify ways clients can use paid social, e-commerce, outreach, automation, and digital tools to improve marketing performance
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, paid social, e-commerce, advertising, communications, or a related role
- Hands-on experience with social media advertising platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of paid social campaign objectives, audiences, budgets, placements, creatives, and performance metrics
- Experience with e-commerce marketing, online stores, product promotion, catalogue campaigns, email campaigns, or digital sales funnels
- Experience with outreach, prospecting, lead research, customer communication, or campaign follow-up
- Ability to analyze campaign performance and identify practical optimization opportunities
- Strong writing skills for ad copy, outreach messages, emails, campaign notes, reports, and marketing materials
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
- Comfortable managing multiple campaigns, tasks, deadlines, and client deliverables in a fast-paced agency environment
- Detail-oriented, proactive, reliable, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, Advertising, or a related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, or other e-commerce platforms
- Experience with product feeds, catalogue ads, conversion campaigns, retargeting, or e-commerce tracking
- Knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or Looker Studio
- Experience with CRM platforms, email marketing tools, or marketing automation systems
- Certification in Meta Blueprint, Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, TikTok Academy, or related marketing tools
- Basic understanding of landing pages, conversion tracking, pixels, UTM links, and campaign reporting
- Basic design or creative coordination skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools
- Additional language skills
Ideal Candidate

- Can manage deadlines, follow up on tasks, and keep projects organized
- Communicates clearly with team members and contributes to client campaign execution
- Brings ideas to improve campaigns, but also understands the importance of detail, structure, and follow-through
- Is proactive, adaptable, and excited to grow within a performance-focused digital marketing agency
