Job Summary
Our offices (located in Mahogany SE and Sage Hill NW) are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our team and work at both offices for a combined 3-4 days a week (Saturdays included) . The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality treatment and exceptional patient experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with access to advanced dental technology and support staff. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, planning, and executing dental treatments while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Duties
- Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
- Provide pediatric dental services when necessary, ensuring a gentle and caring approach for young patients.
- Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain compliance with all infection control standards.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid Alberta dental license to practice as an Associate Dentist.
- Experience with Dentrix is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of pediatrics dentistry is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of diverse backgrounds.
