Here's your chance to join our team as a Yard Foreman in our Picture Butte yard/store on a full-time basis. As a critical contributor to our Retail Team, the Yard Foreman takes part in working closely with all the yard staff and has the ability to coordinate and lead a busy yard environment coordinating shipping and receiving requirements. The successful incumbent will also lead managing the yard inventory levels to maintain needed stock and have the ability to build loads and the willingness and flexibility to be able to adjust to the ever changing needs of our contractors / customers.
Remuneration for this position will be commensurate with experience. To be successful in this position you will need to be physically fit and able to lift and move products. The successful candidate must have solid organizational skills, have experience in a lumber yard environment, and exceptional people skills when dealing with staff as well as customers. You will need to have strong customer service professionalism and a high level of accuracy as well as be a very strong team player. We understand the importance of work life/personal life balance. Our stores are always closed on Sunday and statutory holidays to enable employees to spend time with their families.
