Work Location: Native Shoes is a hybrid organization based in Vancouver, BC. Employees located in the Greater Vancouver Area are expected to be in the office 3 days per week, with flexibility during peak content moments, launches, and events.

What We’re Looking For
Working closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, the Graphic Designer bridges brand vision with production-ready execution across digital, print, and campaign touchpoints. Known for a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of visual craft, they thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic environment — bringing structure, consistency, and creative rigor to every deliverable. They stay attuned to design trends and bring fresh thinking to how Native Shoes shows up across channels.
What You’ll Do
- Conceptualize, layout, and resize campaign and product photography across digital and print touchpoints.
- Design and produce digital assets, advertisements, email creative, and website assets, resizing and iterating as required.
- Design and produce print assets, packaging, campaign collateral, and community materials, resizing and iterating as required.
- Build layouts and incorporate design into standardized templates, ensuring visual consistency across executions.
- Bring fresh perspective on design trends across footwear, culture, and digital platforms to keep creative output relevant.
- Accurately assemble all elements of production design and copy, ensuring brand consistency at every stage.
- Build digital mechanical assemblies to industry prepress and web standards.
- Manage color, display calibration, and proofing to maintain visual consistency across outputs.
- Apply quality control against brand filters and standards before final release.
- Prepare digital files for release, including thorough pre-flighting, and resolve artwork issues that arise during production.
- Provide image retouching, clipping paths, and additional image manipulation support as needed.
- Manage design workflows across multiple concurrent projects, balancing timelines and shifting priorities.
- Partner closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure creative output aligns with campaign and launch timelines.
- Develop, communicate, and maintain best practices for design process and workflow.
- Proactively flag risks to delivery timelines and resolve production bottlenecks as they arise.
- Ensure all files are saved, archived, and named according to current server standards and organization practices.
- Upload files to the server and maintain proper file naming and organization standards.
- Generate guideline files for partner and international use.
What You Bring
- Degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of design experience in graphic design
- Strong project management and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Passion for consumer brands, storytelling, and creating meaningful customer experiences.
