We are hiring a Senior Learning Experience Designer to lead and build high-impact learning solutions for global pharmaceutical and healthcare clients.
This is a senior, strategic and hands-on role in a fast-paced agency environment.
You will design blended learning journeys, define measurable outcomes, and directly develop learning assets.
You will report into the Learning Experience Design Director.
This role offers remote working and you must reside in Canada or North America.
What will you do...
- Lead instructional design strategy
- Run discovery workshops
- Design blended learning solutions (self-directed, AI-enabled, live workshops - face-to-face and virtual)
- Write learning goals and aligned assessments
- Apply AI thoughtfully within learning solutions
- Develop facilitator and participant materials
- Create eLearning and digital learning assets
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure instructional integrity, learning clarity and optimization for the overall learning experience
- Partner with client stakeholders and internal multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to the development of proposals in response to an RFP or specific client request
- Challenge and explore different ways we can innovate in learning experience design
What do you need to have...
- Experience in Learning Experience Design / Instructional Design
- Experience in a life sciences agency or pharmaceutical training agency or similar industry is preferrable but not required
- Understanding of or willingness to learn pharmaceutical and healthcare environments (e.g., pharma sales, MSL engagement, HCP audiences, compliance context)
- Preferably 3+ years of experience translating performance gaps into learning experiences
- Experience building blended learning assets such as in-the-flow-of-work learning assets, AI simulations, PowerPoint decks, facilitator guides, eLearning
- Experience working on projects with deadlines and in a multi-project environment
- Bring fresh thinking and practical use of AI in learning design and solutions
