At Blackwood Developments, we don’t just build homes—we build standout, architecturally driven custom projects—and we’re looking to bring on a Labourer to join our team.
This role will work directly alongside our Lead Labourer and take day-to-day direction from them, while also supporting our broader team on residential builds.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting daily site operations alongside our Lead Labourer
- Assisting with material handling, site setup, and cleanup
- Operating hand and power tools (training provided where needed)
- Supporting skilled trades and learning across multiple scopes
- Completing material pickups, dump runs, and moving between job sites
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Taking direction, but also learning to anticipate what’s needed next
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and reliability (this matters most)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to take direction and work within a team structure
- Physically capable of lifting and performing labour-intensive tasks
- Basic familiarity with construction tools
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
- Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to grow
