PropertyGuys.com East Kootenay & Crowsnest Pass is looking for an outgoing, motivated Property Marketing Associate (PMA) to serve Invermere and surrounding Columbia Valley communities, from Canal Flats to Spillimacheen.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships and being active in the community. You’ll introduce property owners to the PropertyGuys.com model before they make a listing decision and help ensure we are no longer the best-kept secret in real estate!
What You’ll Do
- Represent PropertyGuys.com throughout the Columbia Valley
- Travel within the service area, from Canal Flats to Spillimacheen, for appointments and networking opportunities
- Build connections throughout Invermere and surrounding communities
- Connect with people in your personal and professional network
- Educate property owners about the PropertyGuys.com selling model
- Identify potential sellers and generate listing opportunities
- Follow up with leads and arrange information appointments
- Attend information and listing appointments
- Participate in approved community and networking events
- Build and maintain a local database of prospective clients and referral partners
- Complete online and practical training
- Attend weekly training calls for ongoing development
Who We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you:
- Live in or have strong connections to Invermere or the Columbia Valley
- Have a valid driver’s licence, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel regularly between Canal Flats and Spillimacheen
- Are a licensed real estate professional looking for a flexible alternative or new direction (an asset not required)
- Are considering a future career in licensed real estate
- Have experience in sales, marketing, customer service or community networking
- Are confident starting conversations and building genuine relationships
- Are self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Have strong communication and follow-up skills
- Are passionate about helping property owners understand their selling options
- Are comfortable working in a 100% commission-based role
A real estate licence is not required to begin. However, licensed professionals are strongly encouraged to apply, and this opportunity may be an excellent starting point for someone interested in eventually completing their licensing education. All activities must remain within applicable provincial licensing requirements.
Compensation
This is an independent consultant opportunity, not an employee position.
- 20% commission on company-provided leads
- 30% commission on self-generated leads
- No limit on earning potential
- Starter kit and training provided
- Commissions are invoiced to the franchisee
- Independent consultants are responsible for their own income taxes, CPP and any applicable GST/HST obligations
Training and Growth
Property Marketing Associates receive online and practical training before beginning. Ongoing coaching and weekly training calls are also provided.
