We are currently seeking experienced CWB Certified Welders with a strong background in the fabrication, assembly, and welding of tanks, silos, and stacks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent welding skills, the ability to read blueprints, and experience working with large structural and industrial components.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG, FCAW, and Stick welding according to CWB standards.
Fabricate, fit, and weld tanks, silos, stacks, and related steel structures.
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
Ensure weld quality meets company and industry standards.
Conduct inspections and maintain quality control throughout the fabrication process.
Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with fitters, fabricators, and production teams.
Requirements
Valid CWB Certification (current or recently expired may be considered).
Proven experience welding tanks, silos, and stacks.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
Strong knowledge of welding procedures, materials, and quality standards.
Experience using welding equipment and fabrication tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in structural steel or heavy industrial fabrication.
Fitting and layout experience.
Overhead crane and forklift experience is an asset.
