Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure high-quality dishes are served efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Support the serving staff by preparing ingredients and assisting with meal assembly as needed
- Handle food handling duties responsibly, including proper storage, sanitation, and waste disposal
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accurately
- Contribute to maintaining a clean dining environment by assisting with general cleaning duties in the kitchen and service areas
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate meal service and ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Experience with kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, or barista skills is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or cash handling experience is advantageous
