Monday–Friday | 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

About RedTail Industries
Located in Calgary’s Burns Industrial Park, RedTail Industries develops industry-competitive safety training programs and educational materials for organizations across Canada. We equip instructors with the knowledge and resources they need to deliver high-quality safety training, helping workers return home safely at the end of every day.
We’re a small business that values reliability, initiative, and doing things well. Every member of our team plays an important role in supporting our customers and helping the business run smoothly.
About the Role
We’re looking for an organized, dependable Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our business.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be micromanaged. We’re looking for someone who notices what needs to be done, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys being the person others can rely on.
You’ll report directly to our Operations Manager and receive hands-on training as you learn the business.
Because book orders are fulfilled from our office, this position requires regular in-person work. Many of the remaining responsibilities can be completed either from the office or remotely, providing flexibility once you’re established in the role.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally.
- Monitor and respond to customer emails.
- Process and fulfill book orders.
- Update course books using Adobe InDesign.
- Maintain files and administrative records.
- Support day-to-day office operations.
- Look for opportunities to improve organization and efficiency.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
- Communicates professionally and confidently.
- Is self-motivated and doesn’t wait to be told what needs doing.
- Takes ownership of their work and follows through.
- Enjoys solving problems and finding better ways to do things.
- Can prioritize multiple tasks independently.
- Is dependable, trustworthy, and takes pride in quality work.
- Is comfortable learning new software and systems.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or office experience is an asset.
- Experience with Adobe InDesign is preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and email.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
What We Offer
- Part-time daytime hours (Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.).
- A flexible work environment with a mix of in-office and remote work after training.
- Hands-on training and ongoing support.
- A supportive, small-business team.
- Meaningful work where your contributions make a real difference.
