Lead Ice Cream Server
$20/hour + tips
Berries & Cream is looking for a dependable, outgoing, and customer-focused team member to take on a leadership role at our New Zealand-style real fruit ice cream trailer in Port Carling.
This position is ideal for someone looking for consistent hours, additional responsibility, and the opportunity to play a key role in a growing seasonal business.
Immediate start required. We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible and are seeking applicants who are available to begin training immediately.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a memorable guest experience
- Prepare and serve premium real fruit ice cream with consistency and attention to detail
- Open and close the trailer independently
- Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs
- Assist with training and supporting other staff members
- Prepare the trailer for events and help coordinate event operations
- Set up, operate, and pack down the trailer at events when required
- Help ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, hospitality, food service, or event experience preferred
- Friendly, personable, and confident interacting with customers
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Reliable, organized, and accountable
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and staying calm under pressure
- Flexible availability throughout the summer season
- Reliable transportation to and from Port Carling
- Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
