Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Metal Door Fabricator to join our manufacturing team in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fabricating and assembling metal doors, operating a brake press, and performing bending and gluing operations to produce high-quality finished products.
Please Note: Candidates must be a Permanent Resident (PR) or Canadian Citizen to be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble metal doors according to specifications
- Operate a brake press for bending metal components
- Assemble, bend, and glue metal doors and frames
- Read and interpret shop drawings and work orders
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work with the production team to meet daily production targets
Qualifications
- Previous experience in metal door fabrication is required
- Experience operating a brake press
- Experience with assembling, bending, and gluing metal doors
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Permanent Resident (PR) or Canadian Citizen status is mandatory
