Business Development Manager — Done Deal Drain Cleaning and Plumbing
Done Deal is one of Calgary's fastest-growing commercial service contractors, and we're building out our business development team to keep pace. This is a great fit for someone early in their sales or business career who wants real responsibility, a supportive team, and a clear path to grow their earnings as they grow the business.
This is an outbound-focused role. You'll be prospecting new commercial and residential accounts, building relationships with property managers, mechanical contractors, and businesses across Calgary, and turning conversations into long-term customers. We care less about plumbing knowledge and more about whether you can connect with someone you've never met and make them want to keep talking.
What you'll do
- Make outbound calls and in-person introductions to prospective commercial accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with mechanical contractors and commercial clients
- Track outreach and follow-ups, and report on pipeline progress
- Work closely with our operations team to ensure a smooth handoff from "sold" to "serviced"
What we're looking for
- A natural communicator - confident on the phone, comfortable starting conversations with people who don't know you yet
- A reliable car - you'll be on the road meeting prospects across Calgary
- Someone who isn't rattled by rejection and keeps a positive, persistent approach
- Strong organizational habits - you follow up, you don't let leads go cold
- Sales or customer-facing experience preferred; trades/industry knowledge is a bonus, not a requirement
- A people-first mindset - you listen more than you pitch
Pay: $60,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
