Responsibilities
The Inside Sales Project Coordinator will be responsible for handling a project from the order phase, until it is released and shipped. This includes, but is not limited to, quoting, order entry, coordination of submittal drawings, order changes and revisions, order acknowledgement, etc.
· Provide high level of customer service, ensuring positive and professional representation of the company
· Serve as role model by maintaining a positive, productive, and approachable presence in the workplace
· Enter all incoming orders in a timely manner and as directed by ERP system in place to ensure all checks are completed, and all orders are entered, accurately.
· Obtain missing information or details as required to ensure a thorough understanding of each purchase order and project
· Disperse order information to appropriate internal and external personnel (sales staff, operations, customer, etc.)
· Send acknowledgment to customer; verify ship date with customer
· Maintain and file customer signoffs for all assigned sales/purchase orders
· Support ongoing sales support activities, such as quotations, follow-up quotations, sales order processing, outreach to existing customers, and various additional activities
· Assisting customers and sales representatives with product information, maintaining good customer relationships with existing customers and promoting new or existing products to potential new customers
· Ensure entered orders match quotes in the system
· Supporting ongoing sales support activities such as quotations, follow-up on quotations, sales order processing, outreach to existing customers, and various additional activities to effectively support sales activities.
· Gather marketing information regarding customers, competitors and pricing as well as implements sales strategies
· Participate in meetings and prepare sales report with action plans on decreasing accounts and steps taken to close the gap, as well as the status of new accounts.
· Project quotes – includes but not limited to providing pricing for 3G products, verifying part number(s), accuracy and providing completed quote to both internal and external customers
· Interpreting and suggesting relevant products for applications based on request
· Read architectural reflected ceiling plans, counting fixtures, and verifying accuracy of project requests
· Quote follow up with manufacturer agents, according to guidelines as put forth by senior management
· Working directly with national accounts to develop bill of materials, suggest products and increase the opportunity for 3G to provide additional products
· Providing sales support to outside sales which may include coordinating with marketing and engineering to provide product drawings, IES files, literature, modification requests and other sales related items.
· Assisting with sample order requests from customers and working with operations to see that these are fulfilled
· Coordinating factory visits with customers, setting up samples and, preparing presentations
· Update Price Builder, and any other sales programs, to help forecast HFR orders as well as committed orders.
· Producing sales reports as required by senior management
· Maintain all agency contracts, ensure accurate and up to date; develop annual target setting
· Occasional travel may be required to assist with trade shows
· Perform other duties as assigned
· Work is performed in a combination of environments
· Ensure compliance and participation with all health and safety regulations and practices as required by the Company
· Adhere to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safety guarding and general safe working practices
· Follow proper safety equipment and follow safe working practices.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of successful sales experience
· University or College Degree, with a focus on sales/marketing, an asset
· Experience in the lighting or architectural industry considered an asset
· Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
· Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering presentations
· Customer service oriented; Excellent account management and influencing skills
· Demonstrated project coordination skills; well organized, attentive to details
· Goal-oriented, process-driven thinker with exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
· Ability to work both as an individual and in a team environment
· Proven track record of personal responsibility and accountability
· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 per year
