We are searching for an energetic, self-motivated teacher to join our team at Veteran Colony School in a full-time probationary (1.0 FTE) position commencing August 26, 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the Alberta curriculum to students in Grades 1 to 3.
The ideal applicant will engage all learners and inspire students through interesting, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate programming. Strong instructional practice, effective use of diverse teaching strategies, and purposeful integration of technology will be essential in supporting student success.
Candidates should possess training and experience in English as a Second Language (ESL) and demonstrate a sound knowledge of effective teaching strategies across a range of primary subjects. This position involves teaching within a multi-grade and multi-subject classroom environment, requiring flexibility, strong organization, and excellent communication skills.
Previous experience teaching on a Hutterite Colony would be considered an asset.
