Wall Grain Handling Systems, a leader in the grain handling and storage industry is looking for a highly motivated Material Handler to be part of the operations of the company.
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of duties aimed at fulfilling customer orders along with receiving material The incumbent must be able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
Job Location: Brunkild, Manitoba
Requires valid class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle
Duties
- Work with team members to fulfill customer orders
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Receive and store incoming inventory in designated areas
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Ability and willingness to participate in development activities including training, recertification, and supporting other departments and positions as required
- Monitor equipment and Stock, proactively notify supervisor of issues
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse distribution environment is preferred.
- Ability to take instruction and work well with others in a team environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Experience with order picking processes and familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of agricultural parts and industry is considered an asset
