Digital Marketing Coordinator (2) – Job Posting
The Central Alberta Crime Prevention Centre (CACPC) is seeking creative, energetic, and community-minded individuals to join our team this summer as Digital Marketing Coordinators.
This role combines digital marketing, community engagement, and crime prevention education. Team members will support social media, website updates, digital campaigns, educational content, and community events that help keep Central Alberta informed and safe.

Digital Marketing & Communications
- Create and schedule social media content across CACPC platforms
- Assist with digital marketing campaigns focused on crime prevention awareness
- Update website content, graphics, event information, and resources
- Help develop educational videos, reels, and digital promotional materials
- Support outreach campaigns through online engagement
- Assist with photography, videography, and content creation at events
Community Engagement
- Assist with CACPC events, booths, BBQs, and community activities
- Support public education initiatives and crime prevention campaigns
- Help with event setup, displays, oversized games, and promotional materials
- Represent CACPC professionally in the community
Administration & General Duties
- Provide support to the Executive Director, CACPC staff, and partner organizations
- Assist with capturing statistics, data collection, and report preparation
- Other duties as assigned
Assets and Skills We Are Seeking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable interacting with the public and working as part of a team
- Interest in digital marketing, communications, social media, website management, or content creation
- Basic knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization), website updates, or digital analytics is considered an asset
- Experience with Canva, WordPress, social media platforms, photography, video editing, or website management is considered an asset
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
Qualifications
- High school or post-secondary students are welcome to apply, as all relevant experience will be considered
- Applicants must be 18–30 years of age, as this position is partially funded by the Canada Summer Jobs Program
- Must pass a criminal record check and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Multiple languages are considered an asset
Hours of Work (35 Hours per Week)
Monday to Friday | 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Some flexibility in scheduling is required, as occasional evening or community events may occur outside regular hours.
Pay & Benefits
$16 per hour + 4% vacation pay. This position does not include extended health benefits.
