Accounting/Customer Service Representative - Full Time - Working at the office; Immediate -Permanent - $50,000- $52000.
Days/Hours: Monday - Friday - 9.00 am - 5.00 p.m. - 1 Hour Lunch - 35 Hours Weekly. Company Paid Benefit Premium: Health/Dental/Vision/AD/D & Life Insurance.

Located in Vaughan, Ont. we operate in a 150,000 sq. ft Office, Distribution and Showroom facility with offsite satellite warehouses to service our retailers' efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
- Posting of daily cash including post-dated cheques
- Calling cash in advance customers for payments prior to preparing their orders
- Balancing cash journal at the end of the day & closing the credit card batch
- Taking customer phone payments and resolving account discrepancies
- Inputting new customer accounts
- Timely follow up on pending items, identify discrepancies for quick escalation
- Reconcile disputes by leading the resolution process through effective communication
- Assist in the Month End closing
- Answering Customer Service calls, emails including order entry as required
- Updating customers via emails on any order changes, delay on orders/deliveries
- Co-ordinating with the warehouse on pick-up orders; carriers for shipment/delivery updates
Qualification
· Accounting Diploma with minimum of 2 years’ recent previous experience in Accounts Receivable.
· Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including advanced Excel skills including V-Look Ups, Formulas
· Ability to work timely with changing priorities in an organized manner with attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to recognize and research billing and cash application issues
· Excellent English communication skills both orally and in written
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Strong analytical skills to assess account information effectively.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
