Nissen Propane Service Inc. is seeking a Gas Fitter / Plumber with gas fitting knowledge to join our team. We have proudly served Prince Edward Island for 30 years and have built our reputation on dependable service, quality workmanship, and treating people right.
We are looking for someone with strong mechanical ability who can confidently diagnose, service, and repair propane heating equipment, along with completing plumbing work related to heating systems.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair propane furnaces, fireplaces, boilers, and heaters
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
- Perform maintenance and safety inspections
- Run gas lines and complete gas-related installations
- Complete plumbing work related to heating systems (water lines, tie-ins, etc.)
- Provide professional customer service
Requirements
- Gas fitting knowledge or experience required
- Plumbing experience is considered a strong asset
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability
- Valid driver’s license
- Gas Technician license (or willingness to obtain – training available)
- Dependable and takes pride in quality workmanship
