SMRO Auto Service is looking for an experienced, results-driven Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. If you're a strong leader with a passion for the automotive industry, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team, we want to hear from you.
As our Service Manager, you'll oversee daily shop operations, ensure an outstanding customer experience, and drive the overall performance and profitability of the service department.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the service department.
- Supervise and support Service Advisors and Automotive Technicians.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through professional communication and service.
- Monitor workflow and maximize shop productivity and efficiency.
- Review estimates and repair orders for accuracy.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Hire, train, coach, and mentor team members.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously improve shop performance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager.
- Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience with shop management software is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence.
